It was first time eating here and the selection of items being offered was great. There is something for everyone from desserts, fruits, salads, American food and of course Chinese food. The atmosphere is fine and the price is very reasonable. I will definitely come again and recommend it to others.

I visited Buffet City with a friend who swore it was a good, tasty meal at a fair price. And she was absolutely correct. We went for lunch, and as the name states, it is a buffet style restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. Since you serve yourself, I removed one star for the limited service they provide… basically serving drinks and refills. Overall it was a very delightful dining experience. They serve all you can eat meals, with different prices depending on the day and time, and your age group. Buffet City. Well worth it.

I really like the hibachi grill since I can choose only plant-based items and the sauce they use to cook it, so my wife and I have been here a bunch of times. I'm not supposed to have any dairy or eggs, but I noticed the hibachi cook putting a yellow-colored oil on the grill before cooking some of my items, so not sure if that contains butter or not. It's difficult to ask about things like this with some of the workers because of the language barrier. I tried to ask someone behind the front desk if there were non-dairy options for the butter packets that were available, but she misunderstood and showed me the large pan of melted butter. I then asked in another way, and she said there is no alternative. I then asked her if there was any dairy in the mashed potatoes, and she didn't think so but she had to find someone else to ask. She eventually found out they *do* use dairy in the mashed potatoes. I expected this, but since she is a person who deals with the customers near the entrance and was clearly one of the manager types, she should have better (quicker) access to information like this for their customers. Almost all of the cooked items appear to not be suitable for vegans (contain meat, breading, butter (in cooking water or sauces), etc., etc. For the customer to really know which items are vegan, it would be nice if they came up with a list of all the 100% plant-based (vegan-friendly) items so we don't have to try finding someone who knows while wasting their time and ours. As a great example, the Mango Bistro in Englewood has a separate "Plant-Based" menu available which they offer before seating you. It wouldn't take a lot of time for the cooks and a manager to sit down and create a list. Also, the signs over some items on the food lines aren't correct or are missing. Could someone please pay more attention to those?

This is a massive buffet. We were there on a very busy day, so everything was fresh. On a slower day, the food will likely be less fresh. The selection is unbelievable. There is also a sushi bar and a fresh wok where you select your food onto a plate and it is cooked in front of you. I tried small samples of things and came back for a little more if i loved it. I didn't get a chance to try everything. I hate buffets in general, but this is definitely a cut above. For atmosphere, the decorations are quite pleasant but it is a huge area. You have no isolation.

It was a pleasant dining experience. The food was tasty and fresh. There are , however, some small modifications that can be made to improve this experience. You need to do the following: 1) Have a wider variety of fish dishes. 2) Ensure that the snow crabs are not hogged by one or two persons . 3) Ensure that the duck tastes as duck and not as chicken- the duck I had tasted more like chicken. I was baffled!

Super convenient because it is right next to the walmart. This was actually really surprising because they had so many different food options that I've never seen before. I tried a little bit of everything and the food was either amazing or tasted like butt. There was no between. The flan should be a crime against humanity. That was terrible and so were the brocoli cold salad. I absolutely loved their mussles that were in a lemon sauce. Their octopus was great. The oysters were warm so I would be careful to not eat those. The shrimp were really cooked nicely though so that was a big plus. I thought that there's salmon and their beef that they have in the cook side was pretty bad. Their peeper steak wad good though. One thing that really surprised me was the quality of the sushi. I have been to a lot of different sushi buffets and restaurants because Sushi is one of my go-to things. They had some of the cleanest salmon that I've ever had and it tasted just like from a high quality sushi restaurant. Overall. I'd come back here again. One thing that I absolutely loved about this place is that I came in an hour before they were closing. Normally Chinese buffets are completely awful and they run out of food and the people are mean. These were the some of the nicest people I've ever met and the food was fresh and still coming out. Big credit to them for that. I would come back here again.

I ventured to Buffet City, situated in Port Charlotte, Florida, where an array of delectable cuisine awaited me. The establishment boasted an all-you-can-eat buffet, featuring an extensive variety of Chinese fare, sushi, fruits, crab, and desserts. I was impressed with the spotless cleanliness and the alluring coy pond situated at the entrance. I highly endorse this gastronomic establishment for its impeccable buffet offerings. My personal favorites included sushi rolls, dumplings, steak, and peppers. One would undoubtedly need to visit multiple times to savor all of the tantalizing options. The flavors were grand, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
